This card was made for Doctors day. Made with the Wild card cartridge. We are making little bags of homemade cookies and giving these to our doctors to tell them THANK-YOU.

Love the cute Easter bag. Wish I could part with this one...

All these cards are fabulous. I have the most wonderful/creative card buddies out there. March was Spring/Easter. I am not sure if I can part with any of these cards either. What a tough decision. Theses cards make me want SPRING here a little sooner. Don't get me wrong I love the snow but after 4 months it can go away. Right now everything is so brown and muddy. Ughh!

Happy Birthday Grizz. March 12th he turned 2. We love this dog and he is a very good dog. I thank my sister in law and husband brother for giving me this dog. He sure fits right in.

Soccer 2010

Andrew's main sport is soccer, he loves it. He is a pretty good runner and blocker. He has yet to make a goal this year, but he will.

This a a picture of the new kitchen tile floor. Our dishwasher had leaked and we did not know soon enough and had gone under the wood floors and the linoleum. We took up the wood floor and was a stinky mess. Next we went shopping to get new wood floor to replace. Well to my luck they have discontinued that color. So our option was to buy all new would floor which would be the hole up stairs or just do tile. We chose to do tile because of cost. It looks beautiful...And you know when you do a project like this that there is always something else that needs to be done, Yep I need new counter tops. They are a baby blue in color and I hate them. Maybe this summer we can help the economy again. We have done really good this year. Jeff had surgery and many heart tests done and now he is back to work lite duty and just trying to keep up. He is always so uplifting and never lets anything bother him. I can tell he has not been himself since surgery. He tries to be tough and take only tylenol when he should be taking something more and I think he is doing too much walking and standing so it is taking a little bit longer to recover. Hard to see him in so much pain.

Next we are planning for Katie to have tonsils and adenoids out along with a septum repair and sinus surgery. She will be having this done Monday the 29th. She is not too excited because that is spring break. The doctor said she would have to miss a full week of school and with her classes it is really hard to miss that many days. Sorry Katie, but mommy loves you.

Andrew ready for scouts. We are having a uniform inspection and he asked if it could be before dinner. I asked why? He said because his face gets all messy. Well it was after dinner and Andrew got up and all the boys followed him to go wash faces. Usually boys could care less but not my Andrew.

Blue and Gold Banquet cake. Each kid brings a cake and we get to eat them for dessert. This cake turned out sooo cute. But yet again I think my kids are pretty amazing.

Katie and her birthday tree. We have done this every year she was born just to make her birthday special since it is a few days after Christmas. She has never been left out. So hard to believe she is 14. Where did the time go. I am kinda selfish in a way...I think I have the best kids in the world.

Surprise Katie, you got your iPod touch and from mom and dad and your Snuggie from Aunt Shannon, Uncle Dean and your cousin Jordyn. They live so far away, but knew what to get you. They are one special family.

This is the pot of TACO JOE DIP. I made for the F.O.P. Cookie/treat exchange.
This is so yummy...When I make I double recipe.
1 can (16oz) Kidney beans drained and rinsed
1 can (15oz) whole kernal corn drained
1 can (15oz) black beans rinsed and drained
1 can (14oz) stewed tomatoes
1 can (80z) tomato sauce
1 can (4oz) chopped green chilis
1 envelope taco seasoning
1/2 cup chopped onion
tortilla chips

In slow cooker combine all ingredients except chips. Cook on low for 5 hours
Serve with tortilla chips.

Oh My I had to try Caramel apples too.
After some fail attempts I found a trick::: Want to know you say???

Grab a big pot and boil water. dip your apples in boiling water for less than 5 seconds and then dry and place in fridge. They will look like they are ruined apples. This takes the wax off.
After they have been in fridge for like overnight. Melt you caramels or make your own caramel. I have done both but I like easy. Dip cold apples into caramel and drip off excess. if going to decorate here do so or place in fridge to harden. Next is dip in melted chocolate and garnish with what your heart desires. replace in fridge and when hard then wrap pretty. I kept mine wrapped and placed in the garage because of had very cold temps outside. KEEP cold till ready to eat. YUMMY....

Andrew turns 9. Oh, where did the time go. Wasn't he just born yesterday...Well the best things about him not being born just yesterday is that we are both sleeping through the night. We celebrated his birthday earlier in the week and went Perkins for dinner. We all love breakfast food for dinner. The day of his birthday we left to go to Twin Falls. Emily had a clogging workshop all day Saturday and then they performed what they learned. She and her friends Courtney and Katherine road down with me and they are the best girls in the world...they even played some of my ERA.

CDC club was canceled this last Monday. So sad. I had the two cutest cards ever. The theme of course was Christmas. I used the Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge and loved the Santa suit as you can tell.

Thanksgiving is coming this next week and I wanted to share what I am thankful for. I am thankful for my family and all the little and big things they do for me and others. They really are special. I am thankful for the trials that have been handed to us. It has made us a stronger close knit family. We have have more compassion and do more service because of our trials. I know with my husbands and daughters health issues more trials are to come in time and I believe our past trials make us stronger for what our future holds. (Okay I will quit rambling)

May all my friends and family have a Happy Thanksgiving and you remember what you are thankful for. Remember to tell others how thankful you are to them.

Happy Halloween to all and to all a safe night. I like Halloween it is so fun to see the kids dress up and they get so excited. The best part of Halloween this year is the clocks get set back an hour so we get an extra hour of sleep. Us parents are going to need it with our kids on a sugar high. Andrew went a Hunter and Katie went as a cute Minnie Mouse. Emily went to the youth dance but, did not dress up.

These are the cards we walked away with this past month. They are all so awesome that I am having a hard time sending these away to friends and family.Haven't got a clue why some are sideways, sorry they were right side up before downloading.

This amazing tag came with some witches brew mix. that you add into your hot chocolate or coffee, which ever you want.

This card made me want to go out and buy this one. Just way too cute. Maybe a big hint to my family that is what they can get me for a stocking stuffer. I sure hope they read this...

The sweet moon last night. Shinning through the clouds. It was so bright.

Emily Sweet 16. Oh where did the time go. She was just a baby the other day. She is everything I want to be when I grow up. Confident, outgoing, cheerful, positive, outgoing, caring and supportive. She doesn't care who you are on the outside she loves you for who you are.

These TWO are so goofy.
Love these too also.

Emily Party favors. I found these really cool water marbles and 2 packages for $3.00 made 12 favors and found the large flowers and a vase for $1.00 each. Total favor cost less that $3.00 each and the girls just loved them.

Emily's Sweet 16 cake. No I did not have time to make a cake but with these beautiful flowers I had to create this master piece.

3rd weekend in October I was able to go with Jeff to Coeur D'alene to an optometry conference that he was speaking at. A lot of people asked us why optometry? Well Jeff has Fabry's and this can be diagnosed early in youth if optometrists are educated on what findings are in the eyes. Jeff spoke regarding A patients perspective. Jeff was not diagnosed till April of 2003. (he has had this since birth) He was diagnosed with other problems that were not correct but, sounded good at the time. When he was diagnosed he was in advanced kidney failure and things just seemed to move so fast that it did not soak in right away what was happening, we just knew that this was not good and he was pretty ill at the time. He went from Biopsy's of the kidney's to dialysis the next week and then a diagnoses of Fabry's along with our two daughters. The girls are doing fine now and will cont. see a doctor to monitor kidney and heart functions long with all other systems. I learned more about this disease than the doctors. About 2 months later the FDA released a drug to help control this disease ( it doesn't make him better but makes things so they hopefully won't get worse.) So in July 2003 he started the infusions, he gets these every two weeks for the rest of his life. By the end of August of 2003 we received a call from the U of U stating his dad matched as a kidney donor. We were elated at the time. See he was doing dialysis 3 days a week about 4 hours at a time and infusions every other week which were about 5 hours long and still working full time. People tell me I am amazing woman. Well I can tell you I could not have done it without him, Those that know him he is so positive and upbeat about everything, he was so supportive of me when I just needed some time alone. Don't get me wrong he does have a soft side to him and he did shed some tears. Mainly of fear of what the future holds. He doesn't let on that he is having a bad day. Boy I sure do.!!! He has done well with all his trials and we pray to have him around for many years. I want to grow old with him.

Andrew our soccer kid. he is the one in the black on the right. He definitely can run and when he does he is fast. He coach challenged him to out run her and he did. She did not challenge anyone else.

Andrew our Soccer Player, His coach Megan made a comment to me about him one day, that "grin of his makes my day". "He is so positive and thoughtful of others".
Andrew is a good kid, full of energy. He makes me smile too.

Be the Best You Camp
Katie and her friend Sarah. This camp is like EFY...But, a whole lot more fun. They had devotionals/speakers, they had parties and fashion shows, they went and visited some needy kids and read them stories and did crafts. They made fleece blankets and donated all 250 of them to PCMC. They visited through a window of some premies. They come home knowing they are loved unconditionally and they can do anything they have thier hearts set on. Heavenly Father has given them all these great opportunities and now they just have to use them. Katie wants to go again next year and you know what I might just do that.

The Big Fierce fire....Oh we love fires.... Gotta love how Andrew dresses. He was trying to keep the mosquitos away...He always amazes me with the clothing combinations...And by the way watch out for his aim, he is taking after his dad.

Jeff just had his 20th high school reunion...Wow that makes me feel old. I graduated in 1987. We are only a year and one week in age. His reunion was not as bad as I thought. I had made some good friends with some of them through living in neighborhoods and church. They had the dinner party at the High School and was catered by Hard Hat. Was good food. They had the family picnic at Riot Zone. For those that don't know where and what that is...it is a little miniture amuzement park that is over priced on the other side of Rigby. Take your kids to Lagoon for just a few dollars more.

JUNE 26th Storm. Wash out city...Hard to believe all the rain we have gotten this past month. Jeff actually made a comment "Wondering who is building the Ark?" Very true because I don't ever remember all this rain. Palisades is 110% at the time and there is no beach on the otherside of the dam.

We took the Wolf Scouts fishing and this is one of many Andrew caught. They caught many little white fish and when we said we had to go Andrrew had to land this one. Great job Andrew...

YW Camp 2009 at Reunion Flats. They hikes up to the monument. Too much snow the first group did not get into the wind caves and the second day the second group got brave and went in. We as a family is going to do this hike, that is if Jeff's knee will heal.

Took the Wolf Scouts to the recycling center and the got to learn how things get recycled and watch a car get picked up and crushed into a small block.

Went to Houston Texas with Jeff, He had a Work conferance and I just hung out. This was the inside of our hotel. Amazing we went clear to the top and felt like we were swaying.

We have been doing a lot of soccer. Andrew won most all games. GO TEAM!

My Friend had surgery last week and her friend Heather brought her some Easter treats. Bunny's and Chicks on a stick...I thought they were sooo cute so I went to google and this is what I found. Bakerella.blogspot.com. This lady is amazing. Not only did she have the bunny and chicks I thought were sooo cute, she did mini cupcakes. So what did I do...Well I made both. I made the mini cupcakes for a friend that is having a birthday and found cup cake stationary to go along with it. Happy Birthday Amy...Thanks to Heather for the inspiration and Bakerella for the creativity she puts into these.

Wow!!! Hard to believe it has been 17 years. Time has flown by when having fun by all. We went out to dinner at Red Robin since it was new in IF and the wait was only 20 min but took over 40min to get our food. The manager and waiter both appologized. We were okay with this because we had no other plans. We did get 5 dollars off our bill. We had dropped the kids off at the movies with thier cousins.

A lot has happened in seventeen years great things come with some trials along the way. We have been strong through it all, and I know we did it because we have each other. We will cont with great things and know trials is about everyday life. I am so thankful for who I married and love him dearly.

Wow already the end of the month and it is such a blurrrrr. Myself and two of my kids have been ill most of the month. Thanks JANUARY. We are hoping that February is better. We are excited that Jeff got a new position in the Sheriffs Office, he will be working Monday thru Thursday and the weekend off. Yeah!!!! I am going to try to work Monday and Tuesday nights and every fourth weekend.

Now for the fun part of January, I did get together with some friends and make Valentines and Thank you cards. It is so fun and see everyone creativity. These are the cards we made. FUN...FUN...FUN...

Yes you see things right. She is 13 and we have a tree with pink balloons. no it is not a bubble gum tree. You see since she was 2 years old we have taken down the Christmas decorations and decorated it with balloons for her birthday. This always made her day special.

Our BBQ had about 7 inches. The dog had to hop like a rabbit to get anywhere.

3 shopping days till Christmas!

Merry Christmas Family and Friends.

Yes, believe it or not I am done with Christmas shopping. I have never been done before Christmas eve. I have broken my own tradition.

I love going out with all the last minute shoppers trying to find that just perfect gift and when I do stand in the longest line just to think to myself why did I not finish a month ago. I also love driving out on 17th street and re-learning my defensive driving. I started my shopping early this year. This took a lot of stress away.

I even have all the gifts wrapped and under the tree. Makes the kids ask questions which is always fun.

Tonight Jeff went to work and the kids and I took a drive over to their cousins house {Heather and Chelsea} and exchanged gifts. Andrew Got the most craziest thing a glow in the dark football. It was so cool. The girls got wall hangings to hang pictures and socks and headbands. That football was the limelight of the night. I wished I could have realized what makes a little 8 year old boy excited. He is definitely all BOY!! Thanks girls.

After that we delivered a few others and then out to Iona and saw two houses that were all decked out with lights and music that you tune in with your car radio. They were awesome.

Mondays-activity will be the Idaho Museum to see all the Christmas displays.

Tuesday-will be Mutual for the girls and Date night with Andrew.

Wednesday-Out to Great Grandpas to celebrate his birthday.

Thursday-Christmas day talk about why we celebrate Christmas and read the story out of the scriptures. Then open gifts. Then off to Jeff's Brother's house to exchange gifts. It is great to have most family here. My sister and family is in Seattle they and my mom from Anchorage are coming in January this year.

It will be fun to see them.

RAZZEL DAZZEL SNACK MIX: FROM MY FRIEND AMY

1 large box of corn chex or crispix
1 large box of golden grahms
2 cups coconut
1 cup slivered almonds

cook 1 1/2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups light karo syrup
boil on high for 2 minutes stirring constantly and pour over ceral mixture. Spread out onto was paper and let dry for a few hours. still is kinda sticky but, is very yummy. Enjoy!!!

Wow, I cannot believe how time flies when you are having fun. I love Christmas time and remembering why we celebrate this special day (Jesus birth). So fun to put all the Christmas decorations up but most of all the nativities that I have. Talking about each peice with my kids and the signifance they have when they are all together.
Now on the gifting side:

I don't know about you but my kids don't want much. They just want they just want something that is pricey. Family and extended family are done and mailed off now I can sit back and make treats for the neighbors and my co-workers. The house is tiddied up with the kids help everyday. One less thing to worry about.

I made goodies for V.T. today. See above recipe.

ANDREW'S BAPTISM

BOY! OH BOY! THESE BOYS ARE HANDSOME. Today was the big day. Andrew our youngest is baptized today. Andrew was so excited and kinda nervous at the same time. He was all full of smiles. After the confirmation Andrew said he felt all warm and good inside. He has always been a polite kid but seemed to be more so coming home wanting to get all the doors for me.

It feels like yesterday I gave birth to him. He should not be old enough to get baptized. We take so much for granted until little moments like these wake us up and realize that we have it all. I am thankful to be a mother to my daughters and son. And a wife to my husband.

I had to take a class for 4 weeks in October of this past year, mandatory for my job and it was pretty intense. The homework was awful and the tests on Mondays made me sick. I was really grouchy but, my daughters pitched in and did a lot of the cooking and Andrew helped with keeping the house cleaned. I was kinda a reclouse during this time. I could never go back to school and get my RN, my kids need me too much and I was really grouchy. I am so grateful to have raised such great kids. Well I kinda got off the subject here. Just like to ramble.

THE FAMILY....

Grandma and Grandpa Edwards came and Great Grandpa has not been doing well his cancer has made him homebound. We were blessed that he was well enough to come and stand in as a wittness. We LOVE you Grandma and Pa's.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

We are staying home this year. Thanksgiving is at my house. Cooking for about 20 people. I have lots of great help and my daughters love to help. I just wanted to take this time to write a few things I am thankful for.

1) My husband, the kids and family. What would life be without family and the knowledge that we will be together forever.

2) My house/home. I think of the luxuries of life we have... plumbing, dishwashers and washing machines, cold water from my fridge, and the nice things inside my home. When you think of the world, we have more than enough.

3) Of course my faith. I wouldn't be who I am without the gospel in my life and my testimony of my Father in Heaven and our Savior.

4) Opportunities and experiences I have had, education, travels, friendships and my great job at EIRMC.

5) My heritage. When I think about my ancestors and where I came from I am

overwhelmed by the people that came before me and allowed me the life I have now.

And now one frivolous thing,

1) My cell phone never miss a call and able to keep in touch with the kids.

2) Television/movies

WOW, The weeks seems to be flying by for us. I continue to work night shift 2 days a week 7pm to 730am. When I am done working I try to at least sleep till noon and then get up and go about the busy life we have. All the kids are in school so I can get some things done before they come home. Then it is off to dance, wrestling, mutual, and now scouts. I know this is not as much as other families but, it keeps our little family busy. I did get some Christmas shopping done. Did the cousins and my sister. She lives in Seattle so I have to send early. The weather has been nice the last few days we have been in the upper 60's. Kinda funny we think this is warm weather. Jeff did get the Christmas lights up they look really nice. THANKS Jeff. Cannot wait for BLACK FRIDAY. That is one of the funnest days to shop.

Andrew's baptism invite

WOW! I am a little overwhelmed with emotions today. Not only is it Thankgiving and we think about how grateful we are and now my youngest and only son is now turning EIGHT. I just finished making Andrew's baptism invites and just realized he is all grown up. BUT, he still likes to cuddle. I may only have a few years of this left. Andrew met with the Bishop last sunday and had his interview. I was really worried that maybe I have not prepared him enough and what if he needs help answering the questions? Will the Bishop let us help him with hints? Well Andrew blew me away AGAIN he did not need any help. He was so confident. I wish I could be like my kids. I get too nervous and forget what to say.

This in the new Sheriff Paul Wilde. He has been in a few month's because Sheriff Stommel retired. So he had to run in this election. He will be a great sheriff. This picture was taken back in May during Katie's 6th Grade Dare Graduation.

Andrew and Katie in their HAUNTING costumes. Katie was dressed in her 50-60's dress and Andrew was the big bad skeleton biker. They went with their dad on the 4 wheeler and did the whole neighborhood plus some. They both came back with so much candy I am not sure if it will ever be gone. Of course Jeff and I took our favorite after checking the candy out.

Got to tell you it was one of the best Halloween's we have had in a long time. the kids did not have to wear coats, gloves and hats. It did start to sprinkle some around 9 pm but our kids were done. Emily went to the Bonneville vs Hillcrest football game and worked in the concessions. Hillcrest won by the way.

ANDREW's 1st Wrestling match of the season. He played 2 years ago but not last year. He did AWESOME. Andrew pinned this other kid but not without a good fight.

Emily cannot believe how much you have grown. You are such a joy to have around. Hard to believe you are a Freshman. She just finished Volleyball at Hillcrest. The team did not do so well but, she had fun and a good experience. Mom and dad, Katie and Andrew love you.

beautiful over the ocean.

Jeff flying from tree to tree. This was pretty scary for me. Since I am scared of heights. But over all it was fun. at the very end of this activity. We had a down pour. Meaning we felt like we just fell in a pool of water. The last zip line should have taken 16 seconds it took about 8 seconds to get across because it was raining really hard.

I am not so sure about this. But going to give it a try.

Jeff and I at the dinning room. We had so much great food. we never left hungry and definitely was not hungry for the next meal. We always found room. We even tried snails. They were interesting.

Our room keeper was from Haitti. He was really cool. He gave us a gift (trinket box) see next picture. He kept our room so clean. We never had garbage in our cans.

We took this picture to show Andrew what he missed. The kids all stayed at friends houses for the week.

Wave rider. They had stand up surfing or knee boarding. Jeff only tried the knee boarding. Of course I did not try. Call me chicken....

Jeff's mom and dad also came with us. I think they had a really good time. We did most stuff together.
